User Management

As a JSM administrator, you have the ability to control who can access the Advanced Requests Report on the customer portal.

Only those who have been granted access by you will be able to view and interact with Advanced Requests Report for the specified project:

  • Users who are not granted access to Advanced Requests Report for any project will not see the access buttons on the portal.

  • If a user without access to Advanced Requests Report for any project attempts to open Advanced Requests Report (through a direct link or via the menu under their profile picture), they will see an error message.

In order to restrict user access, go to the User Management tab that appears under the Advanced Requests Report section in the project configuration.

By default, the option All users have access in this project is selected, meaning everyone can access Advanced Requests Report.

If you choose the Only selected users have access in this project option, you can select which users, groups, or organizations have access to Advanced Requests Report on the portal.

If the JSM administrator selects this option but leaves the selection empty:

→ an info message will prompt to select at least one user, group, or organization to avoid giving no access at all.

Leaving the selection empty can also be used intentionally — for example, if you want to temporarily hide the report from all portal users while configuring it or for other administrative reasons.

Your selections will be automatically saved once made.
