(warning) This feature in development: Global Views

A Global view is a set of filter criteria (specific report layout) that the administrator can save and provide to the customers. When the JSM customers open such Global view in the Advanced Requests Report, they will see the same set of filters that the administrator has set for them.

Create a Global report layout to your JSM Help Center customers per project.

→ 1. Save an already created set of search and filter criteria as а Global view.

→ 2. Give custom name to it.

→ 3. All portal JSM customers can access the saved Global view later.

As a JSM Help Center administrator, you can save a certain report layout as a Global view, so that your customers can access it later.

When the administrators saves a Global view, it immediately becomes available to all customers in the project!


  1. The JSM administrator has already selected some filter criteria.

2. In the upper left corner on the screen (of Advanced Requests Report view) there is a button option Saved views that provides the option to save this set of filters as Global view.

3. On click a drop down menu with an option to Save new Global view will appear.

4. Clicking on Save new Global view an option appears to name this view and save it. For example: Custom Report 1.

5. After saving this view, the given name: Custom Report 1 appears on the Saved views button with a label that it is a Global view.

6. All views can be accessed from the Saves views menu.

7. The Global view Custom Report 1 can be deleted any time by the administrator using the bin symbol at the end of the named view after confirmation.

Global views cannot be deleted by the portal customers.
