By clicking on the second drop-down menu, you can filter results by request status or task status:
You can choose from the pre-defined “Open requests”, “Closed requests”, or “Any status”.
You can additionally filter by workflow status. Simply go to Filtering by Workflow Issue Status.

When filtering by Workflow Issue Status, all available filtering criteria will be listed just under the default settings of “Open requests”, “Closed requests”, and “Any status”.
