How to make imported requests appear on the portal

When you import issues using the CSV import tool and you don't see them in the customer portal but you can see them in the queue agent view and in the database it most probably means you are missing the Customer Request Type.

In order to solve this problem, open the customer request in the Issue View, browse to the Request type field and manually set a valid request type available for this Customer Portal.
