With Modify My Request you can easily enable your JSM Customers Portal to edit their requests.
Modify My Request on the Customer Portal
Modify My Request button appears right below the Summary of every request on the Customer Portal.
By clicking it you can edit the Summary and Description field of a request that has already been submitted.
