My Tasks: Customer ToDo List on JSM Portal

My Tasks enhances JSM by helping portal users quickly identify and act on tickets needing their attention. It lists requests expecting their approval, transition, or comment directly on the portal, streamlining decisions and accelerating feedback.

 


My Tasks on the Customer Portal

My Tasks request lists on the Customer Portal can be accessed under the profile menu My Tasks. There are three request lists, each with a different automated sorting criterion, and one that is manually added by the customer.

To Comment tab status:AUTOMATICALLY ADDED TASKS

To Transition tab status:AUTOMATICALLY ADDED TASKS

Access My Tasks on the Customer Portal

On the Customer Portal, every request can be saved to My Tasks and can be followed up later from the My added tasks tab in My Tasks page.

In order to do that, there is a My Tasks section for each request in its view. The section contains two buttons:

Save to My Tasks: The request will be added to a My added tasks tab in My Tasks page.

My Tasks enhances the JSM portal by making it easier for customers to manage their tickets and ensure they don't miss any requests that require their attention or action. It centralizes all tasks related to approvals, transitions, and comments in one view.

Key features:

Approval List: Automatically compiles requests that require customer approval

Transition List: Displays tickets that require a status change by the customer

Comment List: Tracks tickets where the agent has asked a question in the comments

Personal Follow-up List: Allows customers to add requests to a custom list for personal tracking

Problems Solved:

Process Delays: Avoid delays caused by waiting for portal users to take action. My Tasks centralizes all tasks, ensuring actions are taken promptly

Missed Notifications: Prevent missed Jira notifications and lack of visibility. Customers have a clear view of all pending tasks, so nothing is overlooked.
