Selecting/Deselecting of Columns, Quick Filtering by Status Category, Quick Filtering by Link Type, Column Details
Filter Configuration
Project View: Click on the configuration menu to the right to access the Switch Filter option. You can set all filters or any previously configured filter, marked as a favorite with the star symbol. If you’d like to change the configuration, repeat those steps.
Project Report: Click on the dropdown menu to choose from all filters marked as a favorite with the star symbol. Every time you access Project Report, you have to choose a filter.
Dashboard Gadget: Click on the configuration menu, select Edit and then choose from the list of previously configured filters, marked as a favorite with the star symbol. If you’d like to change the configuration, repeat those steps.
Selecting/Deselecting of Columns
Project View: After selecting a predefined or custom filter, a number of columns (6 or less) will load. You can choose which columns to display by clicking on the Columns button to the right and selecting or deselecting Summary, Status, Assignee, Last comment date, Last Change and Progress.
Project Report: All Columns are predefined and cannot be amended.
Dashboard Gadget: Click on the configuration menu, select Edit and then select/deselect the columns you want displayed. Click Save to set selection.
Quick Filtering by Status Category
You can additionally filter the displayed data by clicking on Status Category, situated right above the Summary sign. There you can select or deselect To Do, In Progress and Done.
The Dashboard Gadget version of DV doesn’t offer this functionality.
Quick Filtering by Link Type
You can additionally filter the displayed data by clicking on Link Types, situated next to Status Category. There you can select or deselect Blocks, Cloners and Duplicate, Parent/Child, Problem/Incident and Related.
The Dashboard Gadget version of DV doesn’t offer this functionality.
Column Details
The first column, situated to the very left shows the number of issues connected to each task. The colors display the issue category.
Click on each number to see all the issues listed below. Under Summary, you will see issue details as well as its connection to the others.
This functionality works the same way for Project View, Project Report and Dashboard Gadget.
Epics Summary
Board Selection, Navigation, Issue Details
Board Selection
To start using Epics Summary, you have to first choose a board. Select one from the dropdown menu, located right under Summary.
Navigation
The leftmost column shows all epics as well as the issues without epics. When 1 or all epics are selected, all tasks and sub-tasks are listed.
Clicking on the numbers before Unestimated, Unassigned and Completed to lad another browser tab with the info about the selected tasks and sub-tasks.
Issue Details
Click on each epic to see a list with all tasks and sub-tasks in it. You can then investigate each one in detail and see its status.
